What a cookie is
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to store, usually to remember something between page loads. Related technologies such as local storage do the same job. This policy covers both.
What this site actually does

Why there is no consent banner
Consent banners exist because of laws such as the EU ePrivacy Directive, which require opt-in consent before storing non-essential information on your device. We store nothing non-essential, and we run no analytics or advertising, so there is no lawful basis we need to ask you for. Adding a banner would be theatre.
The Shopify cookies that appear during checkout are strictly necessary to complete a purchase you have chosen to make, which is the category that does not require prior consent.
If we ever add analytics or advertising, we will add a proper consent mechanism at the same time and update this page.
Controlling cookies and third-party requests
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the Shopify cookies will prevent checkout from working, which is a limitation of how online payment works rather than a choice we made.
If you would rather your IP address were not seen by Google or jsDelivr, a content blocker or a VPN will prevent those requests. The site is built to remain readable and usable if they are blocked: the fonts fall back to your system typeface and the page renders fully without the animation library.
